The Ministry of Mines and Geology of Gabon has signed an agreement with the Japanese company Asia Mining Limited (AML Holdings) to establish manganese processing facilities in the country. These facilities are expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2029, with an annual processing capacity of 400,000 tons of manganese alloys.

該協議規定在加蓬設立一家AML控股子公司，負責錳的本地轉化。這將有助于采礦業的工業化，并加強該國的經濟主權。該項目預計將創造大量直接和間接就業機會，并促進加蓬公路和能源基礎設施的發展。

The agreement stipulates the establishment of an AML Holdings subsidiary in Gabon to be responsible for the local transformation of manganese. This will help industrialize the mining industry and strengthen the country's economic sovereignty.The project is expected to create a large number of direct and indirect jobs and promote the development of Gabon's road and energy infrastructure.

The Ministry of Mines and Geology Resources of Gabon stated that this partnership has strengthened the economic and industrial ties between Gabon and Japan. The agreement is in line with Gabon's agenda to promote local mineral processing to create job opportunities, diversify the economy and attract foreign investment.
